I am a creature of habit. Every morning I wake up and head straight to the kitchen to brew myself a fresh cup of coffee and toast an English muffin. It’s my way of stepping back into reality after a night of fantastical dreams! Unfortunately, my coffee didn’t quite taste the same this morning, which might have had something to do with the fact that I’ve been using the same coffee filter for the past two days. (I've been washing them after each use!) Now, before you think I’m too lazy to buy new coffee filters, let me explain!
Where I live, there are two of us who are serious coffee drinkers. Being a neat freak, I’m the one who usually cleans the coffee maker, and I often provide the necessary coffee making accessories. But just this once, I wanted to see how long it would take my roommate to go out and buy new filters! Of course, I might give in today and head to the store because like I said, my coffee is starting to taste like dirt!
After viewing my very stained, but artistically cool looking coffee filter though, I began to think about coffee filter art and the things Google might show me if I typed in “coffee filter fashion.” Below is what I found, and I have to say, I am totally inspired this morning to start a coffee filter project!
Cheers to fashion,
