Allie Mocha Polka Dot Dress
I just finished watching one of my favorite musicals, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, directed by Tim Burton! Fascinated by the character Mrs. Lovett, who is played by the amazing Helena Bonham Carter, I felt compelled to showcase the darkness surrounding the plot of the story.
Inspired by the streets of London and the Victorian era, I created a Tim Burton-esque style with this fabulous mocha dress with polka dot print made by Moon Collection. You could, of course, play up this dress with a more prim and proper look by pairing it with simple black pumps, a cardigan, and headband. With Halloween fast approaching, however, I thought an edgy look was far more appropriate for the month of October!
